Replacing the
factory downpipe and catalytic converter is an important step when
upgrading a 1.8T. The factory downpipe and cat is incredibly
restrictive. Reducing backpressure at the turbo exit increases turbo
response, horsepower and torque. It has been proven that downpipe
upgrades provide healthy power increases on all 1.8T motors.

Audi TT 180Q blends the smaller turbo of the 180FWD with the drivetrain
of the 225Q creating a truely unique downpipe. Since the release of the
180Q TT in 2000 owners have been begging for a 3" downpipe. Prototypes
& one-offs have been made, however a production product has never
seen the market. After months of testing we are proud to release our
180Q 3" downpipe!

Audi TT 225 comes equipped from the factory with a K04-20 turbocharger
and Quattro driveline. While a great combination for making power and
keeping it on the ground, the two leave very little room for a large
exhaust system. The factory 225 downpipe starts out over 3" in
diameter, but quickly reduces and splits into two smaller pipes.
